How to make Cherry Blondies?
Melted Butter
Recipes like cookies call for room temperature butter. However, in our blondie recipe we want you to melt the butter completely so that the blondies are dense and fudgy just like a brownie!
Extra Egg Yolk
The extra egg yolk instead of an entire second egg in this white chocolate cherry blondies will make them extra rich from the fat in the yolk. If you were to add an entire second egg, you would end up with more of a cakier texture.
Don’t Add Too Much Flour!
You will want these blondies to be gooey and fudgy. Adding too much flour will make these cake like or like a cookie texture.
Don’t Overbake Your Blondies!
Blondies are meant to be a little gooey, that delicious gooey texture makes these white chocolate cherry blondies feel extra fudgy! INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 1 egg yolk
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1 cup dried cherries
INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat over to 350°F. Take an 8×8 or 9×9 inch pan and spray with cooking oil or line with parchment babe.

In a microwave safe bowl, melt your unsalted butter until liquid and add in your brown sugar and vanilla. Mix well. Then add in egg, egg yolk, and salt. Mix well.

Add flour in and mix until well combined. Fold in your white chocolate chips and dried cherries.

Pour your batter into your prepared baking dish. Bake for 25 minutes or until the edges are set. Let cool for 15 minutes and enjoy!
