What shipping methods are available?
My Cherry Republic Gift Box includes Free Shipping, where can that box be shipped to?

Our Free Shipping Gift Boxes only ship FedEx Ground or FedEx 2-Day Express where indicated. Addresses outside the continental US or PO Boxes are shipped USPS Priority Mail and therefore are not eligible for free shipping. USPS Priority Mail shipping charges will be calculated at the checkout.

Will I receive tracking information after placing my order?

If your package is being shipped via FedEx, you will receive an email from them with tracking information after they pick your order up from us. If your package is being shipped via the USPS, we’re sorry but you will not automatically receive tracking information. Please call us in that case, and we will provide that information to you.

How can I estimate my delivery time?

Depending on your shipping method, the time your order is placed, and what day you are ordering, your approximate delivery time can vary. You can refer to our shipping methods overview and the FedEx Shipping Map for more information. If you have any additional questions please contact us.

Can I select a future ship date?

Yes. The “future ship date” requested is the date your order will begin to be processed and then will prepare for FedEx Express 2-day shipping. FedEx Express 2-day ($24.95) is the only shipping method available for this service. Please contact us to place an order with a future ship date.

Do you offer military shipping options?

Whether they’re actively deployed internationally or providing valuable service domestically, we hold the men and women of our nation’s Armed Forces in the highest esteem. As a small token of our appreciation, Cherry Republic provides shipping to all Army, Air Force, and Fleet Post Offices free of charge, all the time. We hope this small gesture increases the amount of homegrown cherry goodness being sent to our Service members.Please note, that delivery times are considerably longer when shipping to military addresses.  Shipments can take several weeks.To send to an APO or FPO address, enter either APO or FPO as the city, select the appropriate Armed Forces “state” (Armed Forces Europe, Armed Forces Pacific, etc.), and select the United States as the country. For military recipients who do not have an APO or FPO address, please contact us.

Warm Weather

What is warm weather shipping?

To ensure your order arrives safely and unmelted during warm weather, all orders containing chocolate and frozen items require 2-Day Shipping. And we will include cold packs at no extra cost!

When should I choose a cold pack?

If temperatures will be above 70 degrees during your package’s transit, we strongly recommend a cold pack. All orders with cold packs require FedEx 2nd Day shipping for $24.95. Please see the National Weather Service for weather conditions or check this map.

What Does 2nd Day Shipping Mean?

We ship your FedEx 2nd Day orders as soon as possible, but please be aware that “2nd Day” means 2 days in transit.There are times when we do not want to ship certain items over the weekend. This is mostly a concern with items melting in the warmer months. If you have a specific delivery date in mind please contact us.Orders shipping FedEx 2nd Day with a cold pack will ship Monday through Wednesday (orders placed after 11 AM EST Wednesday will ship the following Monday).

Do Boomchunka cookies need a cold pack and FedEx 2nd Day shipping?

No. Our Boomchunka cookies travel well during hot weather without special handling.

General Information

Are your packing materials recyclable?

The use of Earth-friendly products is very important to us. Our shredded paper packing material and boxes are recyclable, and our packing peanuts are even more Earth-friendly! Instead of being made from traditional styrofoam, they are made from organic starch, are biodegradable, and dissolve in water. Our new product bags are made with a minimum 20% post-consumer recycled plastic.

How will my order be packed?

All of our orders, except for orders of bulk items or cases, are packed in a beautiful box with shredded paper packing and our signature pieces of nature (a pine cone, piece of birch bark, and a sprig of cedar). If you’re including a gift message, the message will be printed on an artist-designed card with a seasonal Northern Michigan scene.

Are any of your products gluten-free?

None of our products are certified gluten-free.  Although many of our products have no gluten in their ingredients, many of them are produced on equipment shared with gluten. To check ingredients, click on a specific product for details

Do you have any products that are nut-free?

Many of our products do not have nuts as ingredients, but a lot of them are produced on equipment shared with nuts. To check ingredients, click on a specific product for details.

Do you offer any items that are organic?

Our Cherry Hazelnut Crisps are certified organic.

Do you offer any vegan food products?

None of our products are certified vegan, although many of them do not have animal products among their ingredients. To check ingredients, click on a specific product for details.

My order is a gift, will it include a receipt?

We treat every Cherry Republic package as a gift, so yours will not include a receipt.

Can I mix and match types of salsa, soda pop, etc., when I order a case or bundle?

We have specially designed mix and match cases and bundles available here.

Can I customize my own gift box?

Yes, you can! Even better, we don’t charge extra for our gift packaging. We know that everyone has different tastes, and “just the right” gift box might not be something we’ve thought of yet.You can rest assured that everything (with the exception of cases of product) ships in a beautifully hand-packed gift box with Northern Michigan touches of a pine cone, birch bark, cedar sprig, and an artist-illustrated gift message card.

You can use your Gift Card or E-Gift Card in any of our Michigan retail stores, online at cherryrepublic.com, or through Mail Order.

Why didn't I get my password “recovery request” or my confirmation/tracking e-mails?

Today’s email accounts are pretty savvy at catching emails that might be from unapproved sources. If you can’t find your email from us, be sure to check your “spam” or “junk mail” folder and mark any of our emails as "not spam". You can also save info@cherryrepublic.com as a contact to ensure the email will come right to your inbox.

What can I do if my order is submitted and I need to make a change?

We do our best to ship your order as fast as we can. If you need to make a change please contact us as soon as possible and we will help get that updated if possible. 

Does Cherry Republic have a COVID-19 plan?

Cherry Republic is no longer updating our COVID-19 page, however we remain committed to implementing administrative and engineered controls that help our employees, customers, and greater communities stay safe during the pandemic and beyond.

Wine & Cider

Where can wine or cider be shipped?

Wine and cider can only be shipped via FedEx 2nd Day to street address in Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and Texas.

How do I verify my age for a wine or cider purchase?

Federal and state laws require us to verify that anyone ordering wine and receiving the wine is at least 21 years old. In the checkout process, you will be required to enter your birthdate.

Will there need to be someone present for the delivery of wine or cider?

Federal and state laws require us to verify that anyone ordering wine and receiving the wine is at least 21 years old. Upon delivery, FedEx requires a valid scanned driver's license and an adult (21 years or older) signature.
