At Cherry Republic, we aim to create special moments through every shipment. Each package embodies our brand and the beauty of northern Michigan. We want to spread joy and celebration to everyone we reach, and your package will carry the essence of northern Michigan's nature and delights.

We currently offer international shipping to Canada, online and through mail order. The cost for international packages is calculated by weight and destination.

Please allow 2-3 business days (Monday thru Friday) to process your order once it is submitted. Recipients within the Great Lakes region should receive their packages within two business days. Due to our fulfillment center being located in rural northern Michigan, the rest of the country should receive their packages within 2-4 business days. Holiday closures and Mother Nature being her spicy self, may delay your delivery.

What is Warm Weather Care?

☀️ During the summer months, all orders containing chocolate or cheese are evaluated by our temperature-adaptive shipping feature on our website. This smart application will determine the temperature at our fulfillment center in Empire, Michigan, analyze the destination temperature and assess whether the temperatures fall below our chocolate melting threshold.

When deemed necessary, orders containing chocolate or cheese require expedited shipping for an extra fee to ensure product integrity in warm weather months. Reusable cold packs are added to your order at no additional charge! 🧊

When conditions are favorable, the system will automatically waive the warm weather shipping requirements (expedited shipping and cold packs), passing the savings directly to our customers.

Orders with cold packs will ship Monday through Thursday (orders placed after 11 AM EST Thursday will ship the following Monday).

Our cold packs are 100% recyclable! ♻️ Simply dispose of the contents (biodegradable gel) in the trash and then add the film to your recycling bin!

Are your packing materials recyclable?

The use of Earth-friendly products is very important to us. Our shredded paper packing material and boxes are recyclable, and our packing peanuts are even more Earth-friendly! Instead of being made from traditional Styrofoam, they are made from organic starch, are biodegradable, and dissolve in water.

Our new product bags are made with a minimum 20% post-consumer recycled plastic.

Our cold packs are 100% recyclable! Simply dispose of the contents (biodegradable gel) in the trash, and then add the film to your recycling bin!

How do I redeem my points?

So, you've earned some points and want to cash them in! It's as easy as 1-2-Enjoy!!

Head on over to the Republic Rewards account page, log in and scroll down to select "Redeem Points for Rewards". There will be tiles for each available reward. Click on "Get Reward" to add it to Your Rewards.
Your redeemed rewards will populate under "Your Rewards". If you're shopping online, simply click on the reward and copy the code to input in your cart when checking out. If you're shopping in-store, be sure to give this code to the ambassador at the register.

How do I track my order?

Once your order has been placed, you will receive a confirmation email with your order details. Please allow 1-2 business days for our friendly ambassadors to pack your order with care. Once your order is processed and is picked up by our carrier, you will receive an additional email that will include a tracking number and a link to our tracking page.

Click on the tracking number link or enter the tracking number into our tracking page.

It can take a few hours for the number to become active in our system and show movement after it is picked up from the carrier. If you don't see any updates right away, please be patient and check back later.

Where can wine or cider be shipped?

Wine and cider are sold exclusively by Cherry Republic, either in our retail locations or online. Wine and cider can only be shipped with special handling via FedEx to street address in Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and Texas. Recipient must be 21 years of age or older and prepared to sign upon delivery.

Can I freeze cherries?

To maintain the freshness of dried cherries, store them in the freezer.

However, we advise against freezing chocolate-covered cherries, as it can cause milk fat to bloom, leading to discoloration and texture changes. Instead, store chocolate-covered cherries in a cool, dark place, such as a pantry or cabinet, to ensure you enjoy their optimal quality.

Nouveau Preserves typically will be ready near the end of July. Because we are at the mercy of Mother Nature, we are waiting for the perfect moment for our local farmers to harvest these morsels of joy, we don't have a specific date that they will be ready to purchase.

Will there need to be someone present for the delivery of wine or cider?

Is the 5lb box of cherries divided into individual bags?

No. Our bulk 5lb box of cherries is not divided into individual bags. The entirety of 5lb of cherries comes in ONE bag. If you would like individual bags, we also offer 8oz and 16oz varieties. If you have any further questions or need more information, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Our Free Ground Shipping for orders over $99 excludes wholesale orders, cases and wine orders. To qualify, the product total must reach $99 or more. The 1% donation is not included in the subtotal, therefore, does not count towards the free shipping offer.

During our Warm Weather Care months, orders containing chocolate or cheese require Expedited Shipping for an extra fee to ensure the integrity in warm weather months. Complimentary cold packs are added to your orders containing chocolate or cheese.

After 30+ years of shipping food products all over the world we have heard a lot of crazy stories! Once someone had to chase after a racoon stealing his gift box! We take extra care so our packages leave our company ready for their trip to you or your gift recipient.

However, once in a while, our boxes get abused during their travels. If you open your box and something is wrong (bottles broken, candy melted, products missing, etc.), don't hesitate to contact us. We promise we will come up with a solution that works for you.

Lost packages

We strive to ensure every order reaches you in perfect condition. In the event that your order is lost during transit, please reach out to our customer support team at info@cherryrepublic.com or 800-206-6949 with your order number and any relevant details.

Damaged packages

My Cherry Republic Gift Box includes Free Shipping, where can that box be shipped to?

Our Free Shipping Gift Boxes only ship to street addresses via Standard or Express methods where indicated. PO Box addresses are shipped via our Standard Ground method. Addresses outside the Continental US are shipped USPS Priority Mail International and therefore are not eligible for free shipping. USPS Priority Mail International shipping charges will be calculated at the checkout.

Please note gift boxes that contain cheese or chocolate during our Warm Weather Shipping months are subject to a $10 upgrade fee for Expedited Shipping with a free cold pack to ensure the integrity of your gift arriving in tip-top condition.

There is a no-questions-asked policy. Your opinion is what matters to us. One stipulation: all our foods come with cherries in them. No exceptions!

Do you offer military shipping options?

Whether they’re actively deployed internationally or providing valuable service domestically, we hold the men and women of our nation’s Armed Forces in the highest esteem. As a small token of our appreciation, Cherry Republic provides shipping to all Army, Air Force, and Fleet Post Offices free of charge, all the time. We hope this small gesture increases the amount of homegrown cherry goodness being sent to our Service members.

Please note, that delivery times are considerably longer when shipping to military addresses. Shipments can take several weeks. Because of the prolonged transit time, we do not recommend shipping chocolate, sausage or baked goods.

To send to an APO or FPO address, enter either APO or FPO as the city, select the appropriate Armed Forces “state” (Armed Forces Europe, Armed Forces Pacific, etc.), and select the United States as the country. For military recipients who do not have an APO or FPO address, please contact us.

How to understand the expiration code on your products?

We label our jarred products with the date of manufacture rather than an expiration date. The code on the jar tells you where and when the product was made. The first digit indicates the production shift, the next two digits are for the year, and the last three represent the day of the year. For example, a code of 123047 would mean it was made in the 1st shift, in the year 2023, on the 47th day of the year. (February 16, 2023)

The shelf life of our jarred products is typically 1-2 years when stored at room temperature and once opened, it should be refrigerated and used within 4 weeks for optimal quality.
