How To Make A 5-Minute Easy Holiday Appetizer
Three ingredients, five minutes, and a holiday appetizer that your guests are sure to rave about. Cherry Pepper Jelly, our Cherry Ambassador Nut Mix, and cream cheese create a sweet, savory, creamy, and spicy spread. Serve a crowd-pleasing favorite that is ready in five minutes with only three ingredients.
There is hardly a recipe to share at all, and instead more of a suggestion. If you haven't tasted our Cherry Pepper Jelly, Cherry Ambassador Nut Mix, and cream cheese together, then you are seriously missing out.
Cherry Republic stirred in a blend of hot and mild pepper to our delectable Cherry Jam to create our Cherry Pepper Jelly. Served with your softened 8 ounce block of cream cheese, you'll add color, zip, and the marvelous flavor of cherry to your holiday appetizer this year. Top it all off with our Cherry Ambassador Nut Mix. A mix of tart-dried cherries, dried cranberries, green pistachios, and huge macadamia nuts add a salty taste to this holiday appetizer.
How To Make This Easy Holiday Appetizer
It does not get easier than this... just remember to allow enough time for your cream cheese to soften at room temperature before assembling.
First, place your cream cheese on your favorite plate and serving tray. Spoon Cherry Pepper Jelly over the top, and then sprinkle on your Cherry Ambassador Nut Mix. Spread onto your favorite crackers, and serve!
Serving Suggestions
This dip is traditionally spread onto crackers. However, fancy-up your event by pre-arranging the cream cheese, Cherry Pepper Jelly, and Cherry Ambassador Nut Mix onto the cracker for an easy grab-and-go appetizer.
The Crackers We Recommend For Our Holiday Favorite Appetizer
This is a matter of personal preference, so pick your favorite. But, here at Cherry Republic, we picked out the crackers we love with this dip:
- Ritz or Townhouse (perfect flaky, buttery texture and flavor)
- Wheat Thins (a nice sweet-and-savory flavor profile; try the "big" size for dipping)
- Triscuits (thick and sturdy -- perfect for scooping)
How To Store Your Leftover Dip
Don't throw away your leftover spread! Keep this in an airtight container in the refrigerator for three to four days.
Tips For The Best Cherry Pepper Jelly and Cream Cheese Dip Recipe
Allow plenty of time for the cream cheese to soften at room temperature. Do not microwave the cream cheese or it will be too soft to spread.
Use the entire Cherry Pepper Jelly jar so that there is a thick layer on top of the cream cheese. The jelly should be falling over the edges. If you want the Cherry Pepper Jelly to be a little runnier, place it in a microwave safe container, and microwave for 20 seconds.
Set out a variety of crackers for your guest to pair with the dip.
