Cherry Hugo Spritz

Bubbly, floral, and lightly sweet, this Cherry Hugo Spritz is our take on the classic summer aperitif. The perfect drink for golden hour on the porch, beach picnics, or a stylish backyard soirée. Infused with our Cherry Simple Syrup, fresh mint, and a splash of elderflower, it’s a Cherry Republic spin that’s equal parts refreshing and celebratory.

Ingredients (for one drink):

• 3 oz Prosecco
• 1/2 oz Cherry Republic Cherry Simple Syrup (a little goes a long way!)
• 1 oz St-Germain (elderflower liqueur)
• 2 oz soda water or tonic water
• 4–6 fresh mint leaves
• 2–3 fresh cherries
• Ice
• Extra mint + cherries for garnish

Instructions:

1. In a wine or spritz glass, gently muddle mint leaves and cherries with the Cherry Simple Syrup.
2. Fill the glass with ice.
3. Add St-Germain and Prosecco.
4. Top with soda or tonic water (start with 1 oz and add more to taste).
5. Stir gently to combine.
6. Garnish with a sprig of mint and a cherry or two. Cheers!
