Slow Cooker Smoky Braised Ribs
Just add our Smoky Cherry Slow Cooker Sauce to your favorite short ribs, and prepare to fill your kitchen with heavenly aromas!
Ingredients
- Bone-in short ribs*, 2-3 lbs.
- Smoky Cherry Slow Cooker Sauce, one 17 oz. jar
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Kosher salt
Instruction
- Season each short ribs generously with salt.
- Add olive oil to frying pan and bring to a high heat.
- Add the short ribs and brown well, about 2 to 3 minutes per side.
- Place short ribs in a sprayed slow cooker and cover with Smoky Cherry Slow Cooker Sauce.
- Cover pot and cook on low 7-8 hours or on high 4-5 hours, until pork is fork-tender. (*Pork shoulder, beef brisket, boneless chicken breasts, or chicken thighs can be substituted for ribs. Cook chicken 6-7 hours on low or 3-4 hours on high.)
