A hot and melty Cherry Fig Jam and three cheese grilled cheese.
In terms of comfort food, a gooey grilled cheese sandwich is the comfiest. As much as we love the original American cheese version, there are hundreds of cheeses and other add-ons out there to really spruce up this classic. We assigned our head chef with the enviable task of using our new Savory Cherry Fig Jam in a delicious grilled cheese sandwich.
Total Time: 10 minutes
- 1 loaf of fresh white bread
- 10oz rosemary butter
- 1 jar Savory Cherry Fig Jam
- 1 block of Sharp White Cheddar cheese
- 1 block of Muenster cheese
- 1.5 cups grated Parmesan cheese
First, slice bread into 1/2 inch pieces. Next, pour parmesan cheese onto a plate.
Keeping with tradition, Tony chose to use a fresh loaf of white bread. To spruce it up, he used Sharp White Cheddar, Muenster and Parmesan cheeses.
Spread one side of two pieces of bread with rosemary butter. Next, place the bread, butter side down, into the grated parmesan cheese.
Place the bread in a nonstick skillet, butter and cheese side down, on medium heat.
Quickly top with Sharp Cheddar & Muenster cheeses then slather with Cherry Fig Jam. When cheese is melted, flip one piece of bread on top of the other.
A gooey center is the only measure of a great grilled cheese sandwich.
Last, but certainly not least, cut in half and enjoy with family and friends.
