Michigan's lower peninsula has one National Park, and it is located
right here in Glen Arbor. The Sleeping Bear Dunes just to our west
are the focal point, but the Park actually spans over 71,000 acres,
from the Manitou Islands south to Frankfort. After climbing the dunes,
canoeing the Crystal River and touring the historic Life Saving Station
at Glen Haven, stop by Cherry Republic for a cool smoothie, and a
slice of cherry pie.
