Dried Cherries
- 6
cup
Water
- 2/3
cup
Sugar
- 3
tablespoon
Corn Starch
- 1
teaspoon
Almond Extract
- 1
tablespoon
Butter

Directions:

Combine Dried Cherries and water in medium pot on the stove.
Bring to a boil. Remove from heat and let cool for 20 to 30 minutes.
Drain off excess water (4 cups).
Combine with sugar, corn starch, and almond extract.
Mix well and place in bottom pie shell.
Dot with butter and cover with vented top shell.
Egg wash pie and bake at 350 degrees for 35 - 40 minutes.
