There's only one Cherry Republic, located in Glen Arbor, Michigan in the heart of the largest tart cherry-growing region in the world. We're just down the road from Lake Michigan and Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. We've got three buildings for you to explore, in addition to our English-style gardens.

Where else in the world can you sample over 170 cherry products in your bathing suit, bang the Boomchunka drum, and count baked goods on the World's Only Cherry Abacus? The Cherry Republic experience simply can't be shipped through the mail. Come visit anytime! We're open 7 days a week all year long.

The Great Hall of the Republic sells all of our gourmet cherry products and offers dozens of products to sample. The Cherry Bakery and Café has fresh baked goods and hearty lunches. The Cherry Republic Winery & Tasting room features a tasting room for all ages, so bring your whole family!

Directions to Cherry Republic:

From Traverse City - Take M-72 west 19 miles to County Road 677. (Note: after 14 miles, M-72 takes a 90 degree turn to the left. There will be a sign… just stay on M-72 towards Empire. 677 is another 5 miles after that turn). Turn right on County Road 677. Go 3.4 miles to the bottom of the hill where 677 intersects with M-22. Turn right on M-22. Go 2 miles on M-22 until you come into Glen Arbor. Take a right at the tennis courts onto State Street. Go one block. Turn left onto Lake Street. Cherry Republic is immediately on your left.

From Benzie County - Take M-22 north through Empire. Remain on M-22 until you come into Glen Arbor. Watch for the tennis courts on your right. At the tennis courts, turn right onto State Street. Go one block. Turn left onto Lake Street. Cherry Republic is immediately on your left.
