Office reorganization inspires staff
The cubes have been reduced to office rubble, the copy machine has been moved, the fax machine too! Jessie moved across the room, Sharon moved down, plants have been added, a ficus tree is on order! Exciting times in the Cherry Republic office building! We are still figuring out how to use all of our new-found space, but one thing is for sure: the reorganization has been invigorating to our staff! Spring is a great time to rearrange your space, here are some cool articles that talk about functioning spaces.

Soap Special!
Cherry Almond Oatmeal Soap. Handmade with oatmeal, almond extract, and of course cherries, these bars of soap are a great way to wash off winter and welcome spring! The complementary scents of almond and cherry mixed with natural moisturizers are also great for sensitive skin. Normally $4.95, these are on special for $3.95.

Cold

Still Cold....
On Monday morning it was two degrees below zero and yesterday we had four inches of snow in two hours. Those of us in the cherry industry may be some of the rare few who like cold weather in March. The longer it stays cold, the longer the cherry trees will take to bud and blossom, reducing their chances of getting bitten by frost. Every year at this time, the trees embark on the first stage of this delicate quest to produce cherries. We've started the first stage -- which requires Northern Michigan to stay relatively cold in March and some of April.
