Swimming Season Opens on Lake Michigan!
Throughout the Republic, there is a common understanding that swimming does not begin in Lake Michigan until at least June. Many citizens wait until July or even August to conquer the fresh water giant. To contrast that opinion, a few high-ranking officials within the Republic have jumped into the lake once a month, every month, for two years. In a bid to bring warmer weather, all the staff at Cherry Republic were invited to jump in next week. Rumor has it that cameras will be there to capture the chilling, thrilling experience. Looking Forward...
We have been bombarded with well wishes and thoughts about our new Embassy in Traverse City. As we prepare the Embassy for service, we wanted to thank all of you that have been so kind as to write an encouraging word or offer a quick congratulations on our new venture.
