Citizen Input!
We are planning to introduce two new ice cream flavors this summer in the Glen Arbor Cafe! Please submit the flavor idea(by responding to this email) and a creative name for the treat. Can anyone top Rain Orchard Crunch or Tractor Tracks?

New Ice Cream Flavor!

New Product! Balaton Dried Cherries!
The Balaton is a deeper red, slightly sweeter and larger variety of cherry than the Montmorency that we typically sell. Appropriately enough, this cherry type originated near Lake Balaton in Hungary. We have mostly used the Balatons to make our great wines, but soon realized that they make great dried cherries as well!

A mission at Cherry Republic is to work toward the advancement of Valentine's Day. We will make it as big as Christmas! It may end up even bigger since love is both universal and non-denominational. Valentine's Day is just 3 weeks away! Go here for some ways to help advance our important cause by sending gifts to your friends and family.

Triple Cherry Granola

One of our favorites, made right here in our Glen Arbor Bakery. Dried cherries, blueberries, apples, and strawberries, plus rolled oats, almonds and just enough of our Cherry Jam and Jelly to hold it all together! Great for breakfast or as a snack right out of the bag. Normally $7.95 on special for $6.95!

Grand Vision!
Tonight is our second big meeting of the Grand Vision, a $3.5 million dollar planning process. I wrote a forum piece for the Record Eagle to encourage people to be involved-- check it out here. Here you will also see everything you need to know about the Grand Vision, Grand Traverse Region's best opportunity to create a common vision for where we want to live and work.
