Cherry Month Starts Early!
As our way of thanking America for putting that beautiful cherry red color on their flag, we are starting National Cherry Month early! Surely those stripes of red are lines of respect for the Cherry and its country: The Cherry Republic. We have put 10 products on special, plus we will be adding more as the celebration goes on.
National Cherry Month Special: Hot Cherry Salsa!
Some like it hot, and we like it hotter! Hot Cherry Salsa, normally $7.95 for a 17 oz. jar, on special for $6.95! After clamoring from Southern Cherry Republicans, we cranked up the heat on our most popular product, Cherry Salsa. Enjoy Cherry Salsa with chips, on a sandwich, or for a real treat, try a jar in some chili! This special and all Cherry Month Specials are good until February 29, 2008.
Round the Republic...
Today is clear and cold. This morning Todd, Nancy, and I met with the heads of the National Park and the Friends of the Sleeping Bear Dunes to talk about improvement projects we would like to jump start within the park. We mentioned our interest in contributing our time and money to improve the Lake Michigan beach access areas on Port Oneida Road. Among our concerns is that the bank is too steep and eroded to safely get down to the beach. The Park shares this concern, so with any luck you may see some stairs and perhaps picnic tables there this summer.
