This year we started to introduce some of our favorite citizens. Watch out, you may be chosen this year. 8. We were on the Today Show. And The Food Network, Midwest Living, etc. We're very fortunate to get such nice coverage. See the Today Show here. 7. Harvest, the movie is still our best. As we learn a new way to interact with our customers, we made some good videos and some bad ones. Here's our best. 6. Cherry Crop survives repeated bear attacks. The weather got a little dry during the summer, but it was hot so the berries were very red and ripe this year. And luckily, our problem bears didn't impact the 230 million pounds harvested. 5. Greatest Holiday season ever. We were busier than ever. We were more organized than ever. There was a sense of pride from the first hired to the last hired. 4. Seven-year-old wins talent show. Congrats to Lauren Jewell who sang "Calico Pie." 3. Confiscated Fruit Mix top new product. It is amazing to me that something with bananas in it could taste so good. 2. The Bear wins the presidency. Ugh. Who would have ever thought a bear would beat the president, dictator, queen and emperor? Go here to see me pass the torch. 1. Traverse City Store Opens.
