Summer is Popping at Cherry Republic
The big news up north is Boom Chugga Lugga and True Cherry Cola are back in action and being chugged and lugged and lugged and chugged all over Northern Michigan. Try a bottle or 6, and you will see why the pop is back in the Republic. If you are in our Traverse City Soda Pop Shop, we are serving draft Boom Chugga Lugga, True Cherry Cola, Cherry Ginger Ale, Cherry Cream Soda, and the hands down favorite, Cherry RootBeer. We don't offer every flavor in a Bottle yet. If you didn't know, Boom Chugga Lugga Orginal Soda made Oprah's favorite things in 2005.

Things are busy in the Republic. On this short video, Bob shows off the packed confines of the Great Hall as the busy summer continues. Also a vantage point from high above the Republic's Glen Arbor Capital shows the many people moving through our English-style gardens. Enjoy!

We kick things off with the much anticipated, greatly delicious Cherry Chutney. This sauce is that extra little addition of tangy flavor that will make your average meal special. Our Cherry Chutney is a mix of sweet cherries, just the right amount of sugar, and a light amount of vinegar and spices. We like it served cold or warm. Try it! Look for a new product every week for the rest of July!

Cherry Festival Roars On......
Every year the Cherry Festival comes to Traverse City, and we see lots of overflow in Glen Arbor, where we have a cherry fest every day of the year. This year, Cherry Republic's diplomatic outpost right smack in the middle of downtown Traverse City has seen some of our biggest crowds yet. It reminds me of my humble beginnings and a near disaster for my feeble company at the National Cherry Festival in 1989. What happened will remain in the official archives of the Republic. If you are in town for this week or any week, stop by and see us in Glen Arbor or Traverse City, maybe you'll see me and I can tell you the story...
