Rib Night kicks off Friday in the Café!
Our World Famous Friday Rib Night is back! We're entering our 5th summer BBQ season for our ribs from the Cafe. Pork spare ribs are slow roasted, seared, and then lathered in Cherry BBQ Sauce and finished on the famous Cherry Grill. Carry-out is welcome, but it's a lot easier to get seconds when you are seated somewhere in Glen Arbor. Not coming up North this weekend? We can't ship our ribs, but Cherry BBQ Sauce is on sale for $5.95. This offer expires July 15, 2007

Happy Birthday Bob!
Yesterday in Portland, Oregon, Bob Sutherland, President of Cherry Republic celebrated his birthday. Bob is in Portland for a week of vacation with his family. According to Wikipedia, Portland and the surrounding region are noted for their strong land-use planing and investment in public transit. The proximity of farms to the downtown allow for some of the best farm markets on the west coast. We are sure Bob is enjoying his stay, he will be back next week...

Our Embassy in Downtown Traverse City continues to amaze the staff and citizens of the Cherry Republic alike. Our diplomatic outpost is seeing great foot traffic and the population of the Republic is growing. If you're in the neighborhood stop by and see us! And yes, of course we have samples!
