The NEW! Cherry Pasta Sauce!
The New Cherry Pasta Sauce is getting big reviews. My niece is graduating from DePaul University on Saturday. What did she want as part of our gift? More Cherry Pasta Sauce. I don't know where she got her first taste—I think that she came to our Cherry Pasta Dinner fundraiser for the Leelanau Independent Woman for Democratic Action last summer. Yeah, those ladies democratically split up and ate a bunch of pasta. And it gave us the idea that we should bottle it and sell it year round. We're also hosting more Cherry Pasta Dinners every Wednesday evening this summer, June 27 - August 15.

Reflections on Father's Day...
As I head into my second Father's Day as a father, I would have to say that this year is going to be better than the first. Last year, with a son just two months old, I was more of a caretaker than a father. This year, Colebrook is 14 months old, he knows who I am, and calls me "BaBa". A couple of days ago, we were on the beach at my in-laws, wading in the water, throwing rocks, digging in the sand, and he was just a blabbering blissful baby. All of a sudden he looks at me and bangs a kiss right on my lips. Well, he came at me way too hard. We both nearly busted our lips from impact, but both of us were too happy to stop and cry!
